Portable Display Solutions for Spa Euro international trade show display
Peek Exhibition regularly assists its customers with Trade
Show stands in other countries as well as New Zealand. This can be achieved through
a variety of ways including Peek designing and building and shipping the stand
to that market and then either sending build staff to install, or arranging
build staff in the local market. Or, Peek Exhibition can design and manage the
trade show stand project from New Zealand, but use an offshore partner through
its international OSPI network membership, to fabricate and install on their
behalf, almost anywhere in the world .
The other alternative is Peek can provide portable display
solutions that allow customers to freight and install in market themselves.
This project is an example of how Peek helped Magnum Filters achieve a cost
effective trade display that needed to be installed at a Trade Show in France.
The company was planning on exhibiting at Piscine Global in
Lyon (France) from the 18th to the 21st of November 2014, and then in the UK in
January 2015.
The firm approached Peek Exhibition to supply a completely
portable stand that they could assemble and dismantle easily without requiring
any professional help, so they could use it in France but also in the UK and
elsewhere thereafter.
The stand had to include a 6m long back wall, 6 round
display units for the spa filters and 5 larger round display for spa covers.
The challenge was to have all these items flat packed on a pallet and freighted
to Europe as inexpensively as possible.
Peek supplied a light weight but robust 6m long printed
textile back wall. This wall is easy to put together, by connecting aluminium
posts and covering the structure with a Lycra skin. Once dismantled, the entire
wall fits in a transport bag (size of a large sports bag).
To fabricate the display units in a manner that could be
flat packed and then assembled easily by Magnum Filters staff, Peek Exhibition
printed the graphics on flexible PVC sheets along with a strip of Velcro to
join the two sides. MDF tops and bases were fabricated to stabilise and provide
support to the cylinder shaped PVC sheet. The sheets can be rolled up in a tube
or flat on a pallet. It only takes a few
minutes to put each display unit together. This solution also offered the
opportunity to have the plinths illuminated by positioning a battery lamp
inside the cylinder.
The client came to Peek’s premises for a demonstration of
the assembly and dismantle of their stand components and they were very
satisfied with the result and the simplicity of the process.
The entire project was very quick to be complete as Peek do
their own printing and all components were stock standard materials. Most
importantly it was on time and on budget, and meeting Magnum Filters requirements.
After the trade show Peek received very positive feedback from the client, on
how easy for them it was to manage the build and break of their stand and on
how good it looked.
